A native of San Diego, Nate Leboffe has been playing soccer for over 15 years. While kicking the ball around as a youngster, he impressed his father who remains his biggest fan to this day. In addition to receiving endless support from his father, he showcased his talent as soon as he got to high school. Nate made the varsity squad at Monte Vista High School and contributed the team’s success immediately. During his senior year, he scored six goals and earned All-Countyhonors. Being a two-time team MVP and two-time All-League in high school was a foreshadowing of his college experience. After receiving his diploma,Nate graduated and went on to play soccer at the University of San Diego. While playing for the Dons in his last season, he played in 12 games and came off the bench to score two goals against Hofstra University. In 2002, he scored the game-winning goal in 1-0 win over Cal State Northridge.
Nate began his NPSL career in 2011 with the San Diego Flash. He was a major asset on the Flash’s squad at the midfielder position. A 3-time Southwest Conference Champion, Nate is eager to continue his soccer career with NC Battalion.
Nate currently teaches math at Horace Mann Middle School. Him and his wife, Jenny, have been married since 2010. They have 3 children and currently lives in San Diego.
