A native of Spring, TX, Blake attended Klein Oak High School, lettering in soccer three times. As a senior, Blake helped lead his team to a Regional Championship and a State Semifinals appearance. He tallied six goals in seven games during the postseason, while also being named to the Texas All-State Academic Team. On the club level, Blake competed with Houstonians FC where his team won the U16 USYSA South Texas State Championship and were Region III champions. The following year, his clubteam repeated as Regional Champions and wasNational Runner-Up.
Following high school, Blake was accepted at Southern Methodist Universitywhere he spent three semesters. He began his collegiate soccer career by redshirting the 2009 season.During his time there, Blake was the team record-holder for the Cooper Test, running two miles in 11:06.Blake transferred to the University of San Diego in 2010 to complete his college education. He continued playing collegiately there, making 31 appearances and five starts. During his three seasons at USD, he tallied three assists and one goal overall.
In 2013, Blake played his inaugural season in the National Premier Soccer League as a member of the Dallas Legends. That year the club went on to be finalists in the regional tournament in Alabama. For the 2015 season, Blake played for the San Diego Flash and scored six goals on the season.
Blake currently practices accounting with Westmont Hospitality Group in El Cajon, and coaches at Encinitas Express Soccer Club.
