NC Battalion to Honor Military & Their Families

Sean Ritchey will appear an upcoming episode of Operation: American Dream chatting about the special event happening on June 4 at Del Norte High School. It will be Battalion’s inaugural Military Appreciation Night!

Ritchey is a native San Diegan and currently resides in the La Mesa neighborhood. He is familiar with San Diego’s military community having grown up in the San Diego area and understands its importance to all San Diegans.  In addition to playing for the Battalion, Ritchey works at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Museum Foundation near Downtown as their Marketing Director.

Within the last month, we have in communication with various military advocacy groups and inviting their members and their families to Del Norte High on June 4th. Military Appreciation Night aims to allow Battalion staff and supporters to honor those who have sacrificed for the San Diego community by serving in the armed forces. “Without the support of our military, we all wouldn’t be able to pursue the American Dream,” said Ritchey, a center-midfielder.

NCB invites you to join the Battalion staff, supporters, and players in honoring all branches of the military. Show your military ID and get in free!

We will be competing vs. Chula Vista FC and the matchup is sure to be another exciting game for the men in black. If you would like more information on how you can participate in the June 4th event, please send an email to Marisa Cali. We’ll see you on June 4…Kickoff is at 7pm and gates open at 6pm.
